The Net2 Paxlock Pro can be used stand alone (with Switch2 fobs) or as part of a networked Net2 access control system.
This is a battery powered handle set designed to provide access control on low traffic doors.
It can be used with a variety of mortice locks on both timber and aluminium doors.
The Paxlock Pro does not require a separate control unit.
When used as part of a Net2 system, it requires a Net2 Airbridge to connect into the system (multiple Paxlock's can connect to one Airbridge, but must be in range).
The Paxlock Pro from Paxton is a battery powered Net2 access control unit integrated in a stylish door handle which is available in either black and white and for either internal or external applications. It can be installed in standalone mode or as part of a Net2 networked system, offering sites the flexibility to upgrade to a networked solution as and when required. They are certified as being suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, the external version is IP rated for weather resistance and both variants have a scratch resistant coating.
The Paxlock Pro works seamlessly with the Net2 range and it is a multiformat token reader (Paxton, MIFARE®, HID™, EM410X). The unit is easy to install and maintain, with up to 2 year's battery life with one set of batteries. It also provides online monitoring of events and battery status, giving alerts via email and SMS. It is easy to retrofit to an existing door, and there are a range of accessories available including cover plates and spare spindles. Use with L29759 to achieve BS EN179 status.
